Vom 23. – 23. Juni 2026 findet die Fortbildungsveranstaltung „International Extradition and the European Arrest Warrant“ in Sarnico, Italien statt, an der aus verschiedenen Rechtsordnungen Verteidiger, Gerichte, Staatsanwaltschaften, Ministerialbeamte und Wissenschaftler/innen teilnehmen, die mit dem Auslieferungsrecht befasst sind.

Im Rahmen der Veranstaltung werden aktuelle Entscheidungen und Entwicklungen im Auslieferungsrecht aus verschiedenen Perspektiven diskutiert. Dies umfasste einerseits Berichte aus den jeweiligen Rechtsordnungen (u.a. UK, Libanon, Deutschland, Türkei, Australien, Schweiz), anderseits Fallbeispiele und Ablehnungsgründe in Auslieferungsverfahren im Hinblick auf Grundrechte.

Rechtsanwalt Dr. Jan-Carl Janssen leitet eine Arbeitsgruppe mit dem Thema „Extradition in times of war“.
